Planting day is the easy photograph. Year one is the real project: who waters plugs in a dry May, who keeps the path edges clear, who knows not to cut the meadow too early.

We leave a short seasonal note with dates, not a thick manual. If it cannot live on a noticeboard, it will not be followed.
